Miriam Grunwald was born in Santiago, Chile. She went to a Jewish Day School. At age 17 she moved to Toronto, Canada where she lived most of her life. She worked in Canada as a bookkeeper for many years. She and her husband Daniel came to live in Israel in 2007.  Miriam does a lot of volunteering for various organizations
