David served as an adviser to the San Diego State University Business of Wine program and as an ambassador for California wines in Israel.

David Rhodes is a California trained sommelier who likes to say he lives in Tel Aviv but sleeps in Hod Hasharon.  David has worked  and consulted for restaurants and wineries in the United States & Israel. David served as an adviser to the San Diego State University Business of Wine program and as an ambassador for California wines in Israel.

David has hosted over 100 wine events in Israel from dinners for two to large festivals for thousands and specifically made Aliyah with the Zionist intent of letting the world (and Israelis) know what was good if not great about Israeli food and wine. David has given food, wine and spirits presentations and tours to Israeli diplomats, aspiring chefs, charity fundraisers and galas, culinary tours, tourists, journalist and visiting foreign dignitaries.

David was born and raised  in Massachusetts but moved from San Diego,California before making Aliyah July, 2008.
