Tomorrow

There is always a tomorrow

After that last sorrow

After that last furrow.

Soaring over our pendant in the sky

Flapping gently in the firmament

A nightingale with silvery sheen

Warbles its eternal song in sunlit realms

Never shrouded by blackened clouds

Veiling dread crevasses.

Lilting in love

Lingering evermore

On lighted pedestals 'neath that great door

Each heart, a harp, shall sing on dawn's bright shore

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.
