Even if you didn't know your Streisand from your Supremes, you could still sing along to old favorites at the 2nd Annual Music Quiz held recently in Tiberias.
Nearly 40 people showed up at Harvey and Sima Lewis' beautiful apartment overlooking the Kinneret. Facilitated and organized by Harvey, we tried our very best to answer questions about music ranging from songs from movies, Country and Western style, Rock n' Roll to good old great songs.
None of us could resist singing along to Richie Valance's La Bamba, and of course ABBA songs - even if it meant we were giving away the song titles!
We were treated to spot prizes for those who could not only answer the given questions but could answer the additional ones. My table struggled with most of the given ones ... so there are definitely some musical nerds out there. "Well done!" to the bright sparks on the team which won.
And the highlight of the evening? Harvey and Sima dancing along to their favorite song –Wonderful Tonight, by Eric Clapton.
